Mrs. Vasilika Vjero was born in Tirana in 1976.

Mrs.Vjero graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, Department of Business Administration in 1998. In 2003 she completed a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln USA, and University of Tirana, Faculty of Economy. She has also been trained in economic growth by Harvard Kennedy School.

 Ms. Vjero has held senior management positions, such as General Director of Taxes, General Director of the National Business Center, General Director of the Albanian Road Authority.

 In her career she counts more than 10 years of work experience for the Municipality of Tirana in the management of the Tax Administration and the Department of Strategic Planning and local budgets, as well as a series of experiences as a financial expert with foreign donors. She has also served as an expert independent fiscal and budget for local government in Albania for a total of 24 municipalities and communes throughout the country.

Ms. Vjero speaks english and italian.

Genci Mamani is the General Director of the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency and at the same time a member of its Steering Council.

Mr. Mamani, graduated in 1991 at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, Department of Finance.

In 2001 he completed postgraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin – La Cross, USA, in finance – banking and in 2012 he postgraduate at master’s level in Business Administration at the International Hellenic University, in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Mr. Mamani started his career in 1991 as an economist at the Central Bank of Albania. He pursued his career by holding managerial positions on different commercial banks such as FEFAD Bank (actually Pro Credit Bank), the Italian-Albanian Bank and further on to be back at the Bank of Albania until late 2015. In July 2015 he took over as General Director of the Deposit Insurance Agency.

Mr. Mamani is fluent in English and Italian.

Mrs. Nexhmije Çela

Mrs. Nexhmije Çela has been appointed member of the Managing Board of the Deposit Insurance Agency in 2016. She is an “Legal Audi” and “Expert”  of accounting, financial reporting, duties and taxes. She has been practicing  since 2000. Currently, Çela is a managing partner and an administrator of the firm Crowe AL shpk, registered in the Public Register of Legal Auditors in the Republic of Albania.
Crowe AL shpk is a member of the international network Crowe Horwath International based in the United States of America, which ranks eighth in the world.
Mrs. Nexhmije Çela, graduated in 1985, at the Faculty of Economics at the Agricultural University of Tirana, where she graduated as Senior Financier.
Her professional engagements include various sectors of the economy, such as state and public entities and state-owned enterprises in areas such as production and distribution of energy, water supply and sewerage, construction, hotel-tourism, education, financial services, trade etc. .
After the 90s, Mrs. Çela has conducted numerous training programs in areas such as accounting and financial reporting, auditing, security services and related services, taxes and duties etc. Her continuous professional qualification counts  more than 40 hours of training annually,  where knowledge is updated and new information is gained for various services concerning business and  public interest.
Mrs. Çela has participated in several scientific and professional activities such as the Banking System Restructuring Conference in Albania, organized by the University Staffordshire UK – EU PHARE Program; International Conference on Privatization, organized by European Regulators in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Conferences of accounting and auditors in Albania, France, Italy, Greece, etc .; World Congresses of Accountants in Italy, Malaysia, Turkey, as well as in many other professional activities.
Independent work as legal audit for various business industries, such as domestic and foreign companies, financial institutions, non-profit and government entities, has enabled Mrs. Çela with great experience in financial reporting, auditing, taxation and business consulting services.
Mrs. Çela possesses very good knowledge and ability to analyze financial, insurance and capital markets.
During 2006-2013 she served as a member of the DIA’s Steering Council.
