The award ceremony for the finalists of the Money Quiz, was held on 27 March 2024.
Top three finalists of the competition were honored with prizes provided by the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency. Furthermore, the dedicated teachers of the winning teams were awarded with symbolic gifts from the Bank of Albania, as an expression of appreciation for their work and for guiding the teams to victory.
The prizes were presented by Mr. Genci Mamani, General Director of the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency, Mr. Altin Tanku, Director of the Research Department at the Bank of Albania, and Mr. Spiro Brumbulli, AAB Secretary General.
Achieving the first place, the winning team will proudly represent Albania in the upcoming European Money Quiz finals scheduled to take place in Brussels on April 19, 2024.
The European Money Quiz stands as the largest Europe-wide competition dedicated to enhancing financial literacy among students aged 13-15. This initiative is supported by national banking associations and coordinated by the European Banking Federation European, and it’s part of a series of activities organized in over 30 countries during European Money Week.
