On April 7, 2026, the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) hosted the certificate award ceremony for the winning teams of the National Money Quiz 2026, in recognition of the students’ dedication and outstanding achievements throughout the competition.
The event was attended by representatives of the organizing and supporting institutions, including Mr. Altin Tanku, Director of the Research Department at the Bank of Albania; Mr. Martin Blushi, Deputy General Director of the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency; and Mr. Spiro Brumbulli, Secretary General of the Albanian Association of Banks. In their welcoming remarks, they praised the students for their high level of financial literacy and excellent performance during the competition.
First place was awarded to the team consisting of Marinela Hoxha and Majla Idrizi, students of the “Imelda Lambertini” 9-Year School in Elbasan. They will represent Albania in the European Final, which will take place in Brussels.
Certificates were also presented to the second- and third-place teams: Ajlsi Manushi and Aira Hoxha, and David Cepa and Bjork Bylykbashi, respectively.
At the conclusion of the event, speakers highlighted the importance of preparing for the European Final, scheduled to be held in Brussels on May 19, and reaffirmed the ongoing commitment of the participating institutions to support the winning team in this international representation.
