On 20th of September 2024, ADIA received in a welcoming official visit a delegation from DIFK. The delegation was chaired by Mrs. Shqipe Devaja, in her capacity as the newly appointed Managing Director of the Deposit Insurance Fund in Kosovo (DIFK).

On this occasion, Mr. Genci Mamani, General Director of ADIA, congratulated Mrs. Devaja on her new role and expressed his readiness to continue cooperation and provide further support for strengthening the deposit insurance system.

Mrs. Devaja expressed her commitment to further strengthen the excellent cooperation with the ADIA in the exchange of experiences and practices between the two institutions.

During the visit, both institutions discussed the latest developments in both jurisdictions as well as European developments on the expected reforms in the field of deposit insurance. At the end of the visit, based on the cooperation protocols enforce, both institutions expressed their commitment to continuing and deepening cooperation with the aim of advancing deposit insurance systems with European and international standards.
