On December 10, 2020, during an online session, the closing ceremony of the project for the creation of the master plan of an integrated system for insuring and compensating the deposits of the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency took place.
The project was carried out with the assistance of the Korean Deposit Insurance Corporation, one of the most advanced institutions in the industry of deposit insurance. The Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency and the Korean Deposit Insurance Corporation have had over the years, consolidated and intesified their relations based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2014 and renewed in 2019.
This project, which was extended over a period of 6 months, aimed at advising on the Agency’s Reporting Information System. It allowed an accurate analyze of the IT system and its existing environment, assess the existing environment for creating a risk management module as well as prepare a detailed design for improving and creating new payments modules in a compensation process. The project was finalized with the preparation of a future model for the system and its development plan.
On the occasion, both leaders of the institutions expressed their considerations and appreciation on the institutional cooperation, hoping for its continuation in the future.
