Endrit Yzeiraj

Endrit Yzeiraj was born in Tirana on February 18, 1985. Since October 2025, he has held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance.
He completed his studies in Economics and Political Science at Grand Valley State University in the United States in 2007. In 2010, he earned a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.
From 2011 to 2016, he worked in the Department of Economic Research at the Bank of Albania. His research and analysis focused on inflation and macroeconomic cycles, trade, housing prices, and long-term growth in developing countries.
From 2016 to 2023, he served as a Manager for Project Monitoring and Evaluation at the Albanian-American Development Foundation. His work focused on developing indicators and databases as well as conducting statistical and micro-econometric analyses to assess project effectiveness. From 2023 to September 2024, he covered the portfolio of economic development as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and later at the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation. From September 2024 to October 2025, he held the position of Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, responsible for the portfolio of economic diplomacy. Mr. Yzeiraj has also been engaged as an external consultant on World Bank projects focusing on fiscal incentives and payment systems. In addition, he serves as an adjunct lecturer at the University of New York Tirana, teaching courses in microeconomics and international economics.
