The Albanian Banking Association (AAB) and the Deposit Insurance Agency (ADIA), signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This memorandum define the areas of cooperation between the two organizations, as well as the ways of interaction on: the coordination of joint initiatives and setting grounds \u00a0for the development of the deposit insurance scheme; consolidate \u00a0the way that banks, member of the scheme, implements the \u00a0legal and regulation acts for deposit insurance; protecting depositors’ rights and increasing public confidence in the banking sector.nnIt also aims to facilitate the exchange \u00a0of professional experiences and\u00a0 information in subjects of common interests and establish joint working groups to deal with various forthcoming issues, etc.nnBoth parties will engage in the \u00a0organization of seminars and conferences of scientific orientation, as well as open lectures with students and financial education campaigns in order to rise awareness on the deposit insurance scheme.nnThe agreement was signed by the Chairman of AAB and the General Manager of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania, Silvio Pedrazzi, and the General Director of ADIA, Genci Mamani.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
