Press release on the participation of the General Director, Mr. Genci Mamani on the Advisory Group Meeting and the Annual Meeting of the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) in Split, Croatia.

From 17th to 18th of May, the General Director, Mr. Mamani attended the Advisory Group Meeting and the Annual Meeting of the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) in Split, Croatia. During this 10th annual meeting of EFSE, a conference on “Creating opportunities for financial inclusion, start-up initiative and entrepreneurship” was also held. This activity was attended by governors and senior heads of central banks, representatives from the European Fund for South East Europe, banking and micro finance institution managers, business and media representatives. The motto of this year’s meeting was a natural extension of the fund’s focus on small businesses, job creation and economic growth of the countries in the region.

 

The European Fund for Southeast Europe is a European financial organization that seeks to promote economic development and prosperity in the southeastern European region by providing ongoing funding for development. The Fund creates and provides long-term financial instruments to qualified partner institutions to better serve the needs of vulnerable subjects with low and medium activity. Through this, the fund aims to support local economies in southeastern Europe, contribute to job creation, satisfy basic housing needs, and strengthen local financial markets.
